Divine decadence (Italian Style) is something Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have preached their entire careers. So what better way to celebrate the land of Fellini and Visconti than with a series of sexy tableaux starring the wild boys of Milanese fashion themselves on their peninsula in Portofino?
Domenico and Stefano were photographed in their Portofino escape for W Magazine’s Feb07 issue by the great master of photography; Steven Klein.
The duo stripped for Klein’s camera, literally unveiling not only their bodies, but also their fantasies, fears, transgressions and dreams of their lives to show the world what it means to be.. Dolce Vita! And Fellini together with Pasolini, Helmut Newton and Visconti, is one of the references that Steven Klein uses to stage the two designers’ dreamlike visions; balancing both erotic tension and sexy glamour masterfully.

Steven Meisel did it again!
Meisel confirms our life-long conviction that fashion photographers deep inside (sometimes not so deep) really wish they could be pornographers. January 2007 issue of Vogue Italia features "horny teens" pretending to get it on in front of webcams while wearing the latest Balenciaga.
Vogue Italia has a photos spread by Steven Meisel on their site which looks very similar to video sharing sites. It’s a Flash slide show, with what looks like a video player for a frame. The photos flash on screen in a very stylized way. It’s a new way of viewing a photo gallery.
The spread is clearly parodying YouTube like sites and submissions by those promiscuous web girls.
